Private Membership

The Academy exists freely and publicly. Nothing here is withheld.  

The reflections, rooms, exhibits, and archive remain open to all.

A private membership exists for those who wish to engage more closely  and support the continued work of the Academy.

This membership does not change the public experience.
It simply offers a quieter inner layer for those who choose to join.

• A private collection of unpublished reflections and offerings

• A monthly shared reading drawn from African American writers, historical texts, and autobiographical works, with optional discussion

• Quarterly gatherings for conversation, reflection, and orientation

• Ongoing support of the Academy as a living archive

This is not a content feed. It is not a social platform. There is no expectation of constant participation. Engagement is entirely at your own pace.
